Meriel is an attorney at the Firm’s Atlanta office. Her practice focuses on employment disputes and litigation including wage and hour class actions, PAGA, harassment, and retaliation. Prior to joining MHS, Meriel was an associate at an AmLaw100 law firm in its class action practice group. Meriel is admitted in California and her admission to the Georgia Bar is pending.
Meriel was born in South Korea and grew up in Southern California. She earned her B.A. in Philosophy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. During law school, Meriel was an editor at the Emory International Law Review.
Meriel is a native Korean speaker. In her free time, she enjoys watching K-dramas and movies, hiking, and spending time with her two cats.
