Andrea is an attorney in the Firm’s Labor and Employment group in Sacramento. Prior to joining the Firm, Andrea built a distinguished career in human resources, serving for over a decade in key roles including HR Administrator, HR Chief, and HR Consultant for several State of California agencies and other government entities. Her extensive HR background inspired her to pursue a legal career focused on employment law, deepening her ability to serve clients at the intersection of human resources and the law.
Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a master’s degree from the University of the Pacific, and a Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. During law school, she was recognized for her advocacy skills, receiving awards for Best Respondents Team in Moot Court and Best Prosecution Team in Trial Advocacy. She was also selected by her peers as the Graduation Dinner speaker, a testament to her leadership and respect among classmates.
In recognition of her commitment to community leadership, Andrea has received State of California Senate and Assembly Resolutions for her involvement with African American Leaders of Tomorrow and the New Leaders Council.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys traveling, working out, and spending quality time with her family, including lively competitions with her husband in everything from Scrabble to basketball and supporting her kids’ various activities.
