Will is a partner in the Firm’s San Diego and Orange County offices. Will is a veteran trial lawyer and has first-chaired litigation teams for more than 30 years. Will specializes in civil litigation, employment law, major injury and wrongful death, and business disputes for both private companies and public sector entities. Will advises and defends employers on high-profile terminations, investigations, and risk management.
In private practice (1994-2007 and 2020-2026), Will represented companies and public entities in personal injury, civil rights, wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment and assault, whistleblower, unfair competition, and breach of contract cases.
Will served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California from 2007-2019. He was the top trial attorney for both the Employment and Tort Sections of the San Diego Office, representing major state agencies and officials in high-value government tort liability, law enforcement defense, and complex employment litigation. Will won every trial and appeal during his tenure and received the statewide 2018 Attorney General’s Award for Outstanding Client Representation.
Will is a graduate of University of California, San Diego and University of Southern California School of Law. Will is admitted to all state and federal courts in California and the United States Supreme Court.
