About Shannon

Shannon is an attorney in the Firm’s New York Labor and Employment practice group. She proactively advises and represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law and personnel management. Throughout her career, she has successfully defended employers in claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Shannon also represents employers in labor negotiations, grievance arbitrations, and disputes arising under the National Labor Relations Act.

In addition to successfully representing employers in a wide variety of labor and employment disputes, Shannon believes strongly in providing practical, day-to-day guidance to clients on topics such as organization-wide hiring practices, performance management, employee separations, deductions in force, wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, workplace accommodations, internal employment-related policies and procedures, and general employment risk mitigation strategies.

Shannon was born and raised in Robbinsville, New Jersey before attending the College of William and Mary, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Government. After attending Charles University in Prague for one year, Shannon enrolled in New England Law | Boston as Dean’s Merit Scholar. While at NELB, she served as an Executive Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review. In her free time, Shannon enjoys watching hockey, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
