Houston is an associate in the Firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. He assists employers in all aspects of employment law and litigation. Houston’s experience in securities regulations and his extensive work with executive teams allows Houston to understand the intricacies that surround employment claims. Houston’s background has helped him develop a detail-oriented and energetic approach to his work, allowing him to deliver effective representation that meets the needs of employers.
Beyond labor and employment, Houston also handles construction related civil matters. Houston’s background in drafting complex legal agreements allows him to assist his clients in understanding the terms of a contract and how those contractual terms will play into litigation.
Houston grew up in San Diego, California. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration – Management from California State University Long Beach, and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, he was an active member of the San Diego International Law Journal.
In his spare time, Houston enjoys competing in a pickleball league, traveling with his girlfriend, and practicing radio hits on the piano.
