When Lisa is not on the road defending employers against claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment or violations of family leave, she is on the phone with state and federal administrative agencies taking a firm stand for her clients. While her focus is on a full range of labor & employment litigation issues, her legal advice on a day-to-day basis, and often in a moment of crisis, is why corporate management has come to love and value Lisa. In fact, there is practically no area of L&E law to which Lisa’s expertise doesn’t extend. From pre- and post- employment matters, background investigations and grievance procedures to the most complex employment disputes regarding wage and hour class/collective actions, breach of contract, discrimination, retaliation or harassment, Lisa has earned a reputation as a bold and determined attorney who will fiercely defend her clients.
Lisa joined the firm in 2000 and was named as a partner in 2005. Her Emory Law School honors as a Moot Court Member has inspired her to actively mentor law students as part of the Emory Moot Court Society. Lisa also co-hosts the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers’ Buckhead neighborhood networking breakfast group. Lisa is also a great resource for companies who want her to speak on current L&E issues and provide updates and educational opportunities in the changing landscape of employment law for employers.
