Reina is an associate attorney in the Firm’s Southern California practice group. She assists employers in all aspects of employment law and litigation. Prior to joining MHS, Reina was a trial attorney at a prominent family law firm in San Diego, California, where she successfully litigated a broad range of family law matters. Reina has been designated as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2024.
Reina is originally from the island of Guam. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and received her B.A. in Psychology and minor in Business Administration. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and graduated cum laude with a concentration in children’s rights. During law school, Reina interned for the Honorable Joaquin V.E. Manibusan Jr. (Ret.) at the U.S. District Court of Guam, the Child Advocacy Institute, and the USD Legal Clinics – Education and Disability. She was also a member of the San Diego Law Review and served as Treasurer of the Wigmore Inn of the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi. Reina received the Faculty Honor Scholarship in each year of law school.
In her spare time, Reina enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs, Pepper and Shio.
