Kelly manages the Firm’s Central Labor and Employment practice. Kelly focuses on portfolio management- helping clients handle their nationwide labor and employment matters in a more efficient manner. She understands retaining an attorney should be an investment in a relationship, and she spends considerable non-billable time learning about clients’ businesses in order to tailor a litigation style that best suits each client’s goals.
Kelly specializes in complex class and multi-plaintiff employment litigation, with a special focus on trade secret litigation. Throughout her fifteen-plus years of defending corporate clients, Kelly has first-chaired a number of trade secret/restrictive covenant, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach-of-contract claims to successful verdicts.

Kelly was born and raised in rural Western Michigan. She received her bachelor’s degree in Humanities, magna cum laude, from Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. She then earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif.
