Kara represents employers in all phases of litigation and before administrative agencies, including the California Civil Rights Department, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the California Labor Commissioner. Kara has extensive experience in employment litigation, assisting clients with claims including wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment, failure to accommodate, breach of contract, whistleblower, retaliation and wage and hour violations in both state and federal court. Kara also has comprehensive law and motion experience including motions for summary judgement, and has successfully represented clients in trial and arbitration hearings.
While she has spent the majority of her practice defending employers in litigation, she also has experience representing employees, providing her with a unique understanding of many aspects of employment law that she utilizes in her current practice.
Kara was born and raised in California. In her free time, Kara enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
