Greg is an attorney at the Firm’s Carlsbad office where he represents clients in all aspects of labor and employment law. His practice includes counseling and litigation on matters involving workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour compliance, and employment-related contract disputes. Greg takes a client-focused, pragmatic approach – balancing negotiation, litigation strategy, and practical risk management to achieve efficient, lasting solutions.
Prior to joining MHS, Greg exclusively practiced family law in San Diego, CA, where he served as first chair in multiple trials covering issues such as breach of contract, division of assets, child and spousal support, and domestic violence restraining orders. This experience honed his courtroom advocacy skills and ability to navigate emotionally charged, high-stakes disputes – skills that now inform his strategic approach to employment litigation and client counseling.
Born and raised in Escondido, California, Greg earned his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Riverside. Greg then earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law, graduating cum laude with a concentration in Criminal Defense. He received an academic scholarship all three years, was named to the Dean’s List each year, competed on the Appellate Oral Advocacy Team, and served as the Treasurer of the Latinx Law Student Association. He also gained practical experience interning with the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office throughout law school.
Greg resides in Escondido, CA, with his wife and two toddlers. In his spare time, Greg likes to cook, train for a 5k, or play video games with his friends. Greg also enjoys taking his family to Disneyland.
