From minor car accidents and premise liability to nursing home & hospice defense to claims against municipalities and cities, Alan has a proven track record in successfully negotiating and litigating complex matters for insurance companies and their insureds. Alan has served as first or second chair in well over 100 civil jury trials in both state and federal courts throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Whether disputing liability or damages, Alan recognizes the realistic value of a case and maximizes cost effectiveness. He has represented clients before the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals of Georgia and in federal and appellate courts and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Alan was formerly a partner at the law firms of Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffitt & Brieske, LLP, Webb, Zchunke, Miller & Dikeman, LLP, and Webb, Carlock, Copeland, Semler & Stair, LLP. He is an active member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, and the Boy Scouts of America, having earned his Eagle Scout Award in his youth.
