David is a partner in the Firm’s Southern California office where his practice is focused on the defense of clients in high stakes litigation. David regularly provides advice and counsel to employers on compliance with federal, state, and local laws covering employment and business practices. David also represents employers in litigation matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower issues, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and trade secret misappropriation. Additionally, David represents private and public works contractors in general liability and construction defect matters, and assists businesses in tort and contractual disputes.
David graduated magna cum laude from Western State University College of Law where he served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. Prior to attending law school, David graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a M.S. in Urban and Regional Planning, during which time he served as a Fellow in the administration of Governor Tim Kaine devising economic development and tax incentive programs and helping Virginia achieve a ranking of #1 on the Forbes’ Best States for Business list. In addition, David served as a legislative aide and speechwriter to United States Senator Norm Coleman and Congressman John Kline with sole responsibility for labor and employment issues and legislation. David obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
