About Kristyn

Kristyn’s practice is devoted to civil litigation and various labor and employment law matters. Kristyn has provided counsel and advice addressing alleged violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act, and Section 510 of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). In addition, she provides general labor advice to various companies to ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws, as well as issues arising under the California Labor Code.

Kristyn received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications Studies, cum laude, from the University of Alabama. While in undergrad, Kristyn spent a semester abroad in Berlin, Germany studying German Political Science and Public Policy. Upon graduating from the University of Alabama, Kristyn attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. Kristyn was very active in law school, serving as an Associate Editor of the Cumberland Law Review, Alabama Lawyer’s Association Executive Board member, a Pupil in the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court, American Constitution Society Vice President, Black Law Students Association member, and Admissions Ambassador working to recruit prospective students. Kristyn also served as a Judicial Extern for former Federal Chief Judge Karen P. Bowdre of the Northern District of Alabama.
