Ravit has experience in all types of civil litigation including property disputes, general business litigation, corporate law, and insurance disputes, including representing insureds in insurance coverage and bad faith claims.
Ravit began her career primarily representing insureds in claims against their insurers, specializing in insurance bad faith claims and representing a variety of clients varying from individual homeowners to Fortune 500 companies. Ravit’s practice also included representing businesses of all sizes in various disputes both as plaintiffs and defendants. During this time, Ravit expanded her knowledge and experience in all phases of civil litigation but gained significant experience drafting and opposing dispositive motions. The diversity of Ravit’s early practice strengthened her ability to quickly learn but thoroughly understand complex legal issues and find creative solutions to novel problems.
Ravit earned her J.D., cum laude, from California Western School of Law, with a concentration in labor and employment law, completed with honors. While in law school, Ravit externed for the Honorable M. James Lorenz and the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia. As an extern for the Honorable Judge Lorenz, Ravit assisted in drafting an order that was ultimately published in the Federal Supplement. During law school, Ravit was a Teaching Fellow for two courses, first-year Contracts and Constitutional Law I. She also served as a Research Assistant for two different professors.
In her spare time, Ravit enjoys traveling, rock climbing, watching Texas A&M football, and attending live sporting events of all kinds.
