About Matt
Matt is a partner in the Firm’s Southern California office. Matt’s practice focuses on employment litigation, which includes defending corporations and organizations in a variety of legal claims including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour matters, and employee classification issues. Matt also counsels and defends businesses on general liability matters, as well as on a variety of contractual matters including service, non-disclosure, and licensing agreements.
Matt received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences at University of California at Santa Barbara. Prior to becoming an attorney, Matt worked in materials science research and was awarded two patents relating to the manufacturing of thin film lithium ion battery technology.
Matt is admitted to the State Bar of California, all Federal District Courts in California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
