Kelly solves workplace issues and employment disputes for clients with sound legal advice, creative negotiation strategies, and tough, yet pragmatic defense tactics. With a prior business career managing nationwide projects, client accounts, and employees in fields as varied as aviation and telecommunications, she brings a multi-layered perspective to the employment issues faced by employers.
Kelly represents clients and provides advice on a range of employment matters including employment contracts, executive partnership agreements, employee and executive compensation, compliance guidance, separation agreements, wage and hour issues, commission agreements, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, medical leave, whistleblowing, employment investigations, employee and management trainings, policies and handbooks, reductions in force, and terminations of employment. She is also an avid litigator, having successfully represented clients before state and federal courts, in front of various administrative agencies, and throughout the arbitration and mediation processes.
An experienced attorney, Kelly has also been selected as a Martindale-Hubbell “Client Champion,” and designated a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers New York Metro magazine. She previously practiced employment law with the New York boutique employment law firm of Sapir Schragin LLP. Kelly began her legal career as a defense attorney and sharpened her negotiation and trial skills successfully representing clients entangled in a variety of issues including alleged wiretapping, rioting, extradition, large-scale internet theft, and attempted murder.
