Kayla Robinson is an associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. She assists employers in all aspects of employment law and litigation, including discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims. She also helps employers implement preventative practices by drafting and reviewing employment policies. She advises employers on how to stay in compliance with constantly changing local, state, and federal laws.
Before joining MHS, Kayla spent three years working as a Staff Attorney in the Attorney Honors Program at the U.S. Government Accountability Office. While at GAO, she provided legal advice regarding the audits of federal agencies, including audits of federal agencies’ compliance with federal employment laws.
Kayla received her B.A. in International Affairs and History with a minor in French Language and Literature, magna cum laude, from The George Washington University. Kayla earned her law degree from Duke University School of Law. While in law school, Kayla was a member of the Moot Court team, a managing editor of the Duke Forum for Law and Social Change and interned in Verizon’s General Counsel’s Office.
