Julie is an attorney practicing with our labor & employment team. Prior to joining MHS, Julie worked at a firm assisting companies with defending against workers’ compensation claims and advising companies about employment and workers’ compensation matters. She has mediated, negotiated, tried and appealed cases in Georgia. Now, she assists and advises companies in various aspects of employment law and business litigation.
Julie is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She began her legal career as a judicial intern for Honorable Nels Peterson on the Court of Appeals of Georgia. During law school, she competed in mock trial and moot court competitions. Additionally, she served as the President of the University of Oklahoma chapter of the Federal Bar Association and editor for the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal. Julie’s previous professional experience includes interning for the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, Air Force JAG Corps, and Federal Magistrate Judge Suzanne Mitchell.
Outside of the office, Julie enjoys traveling, running, reading, and fashion.
