David has tremendous experience representing employers in all aspects of employment law, including representing employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, state administrative agencies, and state and federal courts. He has particular experience with wage and hour claims, including claims arising under state and local prevailing wage laws. David has successfully defended employers in both class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and state and local wage laws.
David also has significant experience representing employers in labor matters, including union avoidance campaigns, union elections, unfair labor charges, and collective bargaining. David has served as lead negotiator on numerous collective bargaining agreements across multiple industries, including construction, manufacturing, and the service industry.
In addition to his litigation and labor experience, David regularly counsel employers on the full range of day-to-day employment issues, including the drafting of complex employment policies, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants.
David is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Before joining the firm, he practiced law in New York and Atlanta with King & Spalding. In his spare time, David serves as Chairman of the Architectural Review Board for the city of Chamblee, Georgia.
