About Ashley
Ashley is an attorney on the firm’s L&E team in Atlanta. Ashley’s areas of expertise include guiding employers through the disciplinary and termination process, leave and other accommodation requests, and pay equity and transparency laws. Ashley drafts employee handbooks and other policies, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants (such as non-compete, non-solicit, and confidentiality agreements).
Clients rely on Ashley for the defense of employment-related claims such as Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. Ashley defends employers in courts and administrative agencies across the country. Ashley also represents clients through trial and appeal in a wide variety of litigation before federal, state and administrative courts, including cases involving business torts, fiduciary duties, restrictive covenants, and other contractual disputes. Ashley also counsels clients on best practices for union avoidance and defends employers in grievance and interest arbitrations. Ashley also counsels and assists employers with union election petitions.
Ashley has been selected as a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyer magazine in commercial litigation and has also been designated as Legal Elite in business litigation by Georgia Trend magazine. Ashley has taught Hospitality Law as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, Georgia State University. Ashley is a wine enthusiast and aspiring sommelier and has completed her WSET Level 2 certificate and is working toward her WSET Level 3 certification. In her free time, Ashley can be found trail running and hiking with her husband, Trey, and their dog, Traveler.
