Amanda’s practice focuses on employer compliance and best practices, as well as defense of employment-related claims in courts and before administrative agencies. Amanda has extensive experience litigating single plaintiff claims, as well as class and collective actions, arising under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, the California Labor Code, the California Private Attorneys General Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. She also offers in-depth knowledge and advice regarding employee discipline, discharge, policies and procedures, regulation and statutory interpretations. Amanda encourages her clients to be proactive in regard to legal compliance and risk management.
Amanda is also an experienced workplace investigator. She has assisted both public agencies and private entity clients with complex investigations involving sensitive issues.
