Abby primarily focuses on the representation of management in state and federal court against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims. She also represents employers in pre-litigation matters before state and federal administrative agencies. She is committed to being readily available to employers regarding workplace policies and procedures and counsels them on compliance with applicable federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Title VII. Abby also has extensive employment litigation experience and has handled many single plaintiff and collective action claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
While in law school, Abby completed an internship with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and she uses her experience to help guide employers through the EEOC process. She also received the William R. Samuels Award for Outstanding Service and Contribution to Moot Court Society and was selected to the Order of Barristers. Abby is the former co-chair of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division Labor & Employment committee and has been recognized as a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers in the area of Employment Litigation.
